ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Forum- Stuck on Checking NVRAM??! I also had a NVRAM problem on my ASUS G50-VT. During post it kept hanging on a black screen schowing only the words "Checking NVRAM". I unplugged the power cable, took out the battery and pressed the Del key and ESC key (not at the same time though).
